Going out to dinner... brief thought:
1000 point jump in 2 days? With a plethora of bad economic news still on the way? Give me a break. Now is the time to short the market. My instincts tell me it's going down.

Has there been a long term upward trending of price multiples over the past centuries? Look into this. Perhaps due to a) more optimistic investors b) More money invested chasing around fewer profits c) Some other reason
